Guest Comments "Loved the Boynton's B&B"   My partner and i stayed here over the christmas holidaze and loved it. it really isn't a B&B in the traditional sense, rather an entire floor of a house overlooking the Kona coast - two separate bedrooms, nice living area, a full kitchen, a nice master and bath and porch along with a hot tub. the Boyntons don't bother you with small talk and intrusions. they stock the larder and fridge prior to your arrival with breakfast goodies and if you run low you simply walk next door to their house (all on the same property) and either tell them what you need or leave a note. when you return they will have restocked the supplies.   This is literally 5 minutes up the road from the Wal Mart, Safeway, and Kona Natural Foods stores in the Kona Shopping Center. it is a great location with easy access to Waimea, Kona, and the highway leading south and north.   We are VERY CHOOSEY about where we stay. the Boyntons will have repeat guests for sure! "Loke's Heaven" Aloha,   Whether you are vacationing, working on Hawaii Island, or you need a quiet and secluded place to write or relax this is the place to be. It is beautiful and the majestic mountain and ocean views are very serene, especially during the spectacular sunsets. It is very private and the Boynton's are warm and gracious people. Well worth the 5-10 minute drive up the mountain.   The hot tub is a big plus. I suggest during sunset hours.

Frommer's Review   Just 3 miles from Kailua-Kona, but up in the cooler, rolling hills, is this quaint two-bedroom B&B, perfect for a family vacation. The house perches at 1,000 feet in a quiet country neighborhood; guests can enjoy views of the coastline from the lanai. A private entrance leads you into the complete kitchen, which is stocked with breakfast fixings (including eggs, cereals, muffins, and juice). One bedroom looks out on tropical greenery, the other has an ocean view. Hosts Peter and Tracy Boynton have lovingly created a little bit of heaven here, complete with a hot tub on the deck outside.
